The Creative Process:

1. Research- research the client and the competition. (online/magazines/music/world around you)
2. Brainstorm/Inspiration- strive to be unique and innovative while still following the current trend. (ensures a fresh and creative approach)
  • Who is my audience?
  • What kind of message am i trying to communicate?
  • What am i trying to tell my audience?
3. Sketching- (thumbnails) sketch to get your thoughts out and to work through your ideas.
  • Consider placement of elements
  • Consider images and illustrations
4. Execute- implement your ideas/combine type and imagery into a well developed composition/utilize design principles and visual organization guidelines to try to help.
