What is the pen tool used for?
It is used to create an outline of an object/texture.

How can you manipulate a path/line in Illustrator? Discuss the use of the white arrow tool, pen+, pen-, and convert too.
You can manipulate a path/line in illustrator by using the white arrow tool. The "tools" under the white arrow tool are the pen+ tool and the pen- tool. The pen+ tool adds anchors to a line and the pen- tools deletes anchors from a line. There's also a convert tool which allows you to bend or manipulate a line.

How can you utilize the layers palette in Illustrator?
You can utilize the layers palette by clicking on a layer and dragging it to where you want it to appear on your design. You can also choose to hide a layer by clicking on the image of an eye and you can choose to lock a layer by clicking on the empty box next to the image of an eye.

How do you create a clipping mask in Adobe Illustrator?
1)Use the shape tool and choose the rectangle. Make a rectangle around your image.
2)Use the black arrow tool and create a border around your whole image as well.
3)Go up to the object tab on your tool bar, click it, then go down to clipping mask. Go to the options under clipping mask and choose make.
